lessons with my horses
Do you want to try positive reinforcement...
...but don't want to commit to trying it with your own horse? Try a lesson with one of my horses! I'm experimenting with asking my horses to participate in lessons with other people, and currently have limited times available for folks who are already horse-savvy, with plans to expand as I see how my horses feel about working with other people (they love it so far) and as space and time become available.
In this video, my friend Kat, who is an educated horsewoman but has not worked with my horses before, and hasn't had a ton of formal R+ horse experience, stopped by and we did an impormptu lesson with Fi that included the idea of how groundwork should feel very similar to riding, and it should also translate for the horse. It's exactly those sorts of lessons I'm looking to convey!
I'll be adding more information here as things progress and I develop a more solid lesson plan for new clients.
